In the shop area we have to limit the number of people attending at any one time. Therefore it is preferable if Dispensing, collections, adjustments and repairs can be done by appointment. So please book by giving us a call on 01442 879303. We won’t turn anyone away if you simply turn up, but we will have fit you in with other appointments and may have to ask you to wait outside or return later!
Ventilation, Sterilisation and PPE
We have purchased two medical air purifiers with UVC lamps to help make visiting our store safe. Everyone will be asked to wear a mask and we have supplies should you forget to bring one.
All frames and sunglasses will go through UV-C sterilisation.
We have alcohol-based sanitiser at the front of the shop, pump-soap and individual single-use towels.
Eye Exam Appointments
Our eye exam instrumentation allows the examination to be be done while remaining a safe distance from each other so we'll be compliant within the consulting room. We can now perform routine eye-pressure checking for glaucoma and retinal Daytona imaging system and OCT scans are now recommended as part of our ‘standard’ eye examination.
All instruments will be thoroughly disinfected after each use.
