Marni is a luxury brand founded in 1994 by designer and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni. The Marni label has built its
success on an elusive yet distinctive design signature that celebrates individuality and a sense of pragmatism in a creatively
irreverent way. The same heritage is now followed by the new.
Marni celebrates individuality with clothes that are graphic and unpredictable. In an ongoing dialogue with the art world, Creative
Director Francesco Risso and his team have an experimental approach to materials, prints and shapes, and create collections
loved by women whose style is creative and distinctive.
Marni’s premium lines are ready-to-wear clothing for women, men and kids, handbags and accessories. The label recently
expanded the accessories range to lifestyle products such as fragrances and eyewear.

The Marni eyewear collection takes inspiration from the seasonal ready to wear and the accessories collections, though each style is a unique masterpiece, characterized by disruptive design and authentic Italian craftsmanship. The eyewear collection juxtaposes textures and materials, geometric and architectural silhouettes, and unexpected volume proportions with bold colourcombinations.
The concepts of individuality and self-expression, at the core of the Marni aesthetic, pave the way for this eyewear collection based on experimentation and avant-garde design. Peculiar constructions and unforeseen embellishments play with unique contrasts and juxtapositions, fusing the brand’s trademark geometric twist with a modern ideal of elegance that is at once eyecatching
and effortless. Density and lightness coexist in the same sophisticated and surprising shapes, as different textures, colours and finishes are ingeniously mixed to give a specific creative dimension to each style.
Crop
- Crop harmoniously merges a metal construction with acetate details, so that each material is perfectly and naturally integrated.
- Round and sleek, this frame’s metal profile harmoniously merges into the structured acetate which boldly contrasts with the collinear temples.
- Marni logo is laser engraved in gold on the inside of the temple.
- The geometric acetate outline juxtapose with the soft smooth profile of the metal, which embraces completely both lenses.

The new Marni Crop, is an iconic collection of minimal and light metal frames.
Merging a modern twist with a vintage shap, Crop is made of enamelled metal, enriched on the upper side of the front by a Mazzucchelli acetate eyebrow in contrasting colors.
Soft and smooth in design, the ultra thin metal temples contrast with the roundness of the front, giving a touch of fluidity to the frame.

MARNI EYEWEAR
Milano Fashion Week SS16 saw Marni debut the new Marni Eyewear collection. Developed and produced by Marchon, the
eyewear line comes in a full range of styles for both optical frames and sunglasses.
The designs are unique and play with saturated colours and contrasting materials, perfectly in sync with Marni DNA.
